Welcome to The Arts Society Exeter. We aim to increase your understanding, knowledge and enjoyment of arts in the broadest sense by holding OUTSTANDING talks each month and we foster friendships and support arts education in our local community.

Here is a short clip explaining a bit of what we are about. 

We are the oldest Arts Society in Devon, (founded 1975) and formerly called NADFAS (National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies - this is a worldwide organisation of more than 66,000 members.)  In 2025 we celebrated our 50th Anniversary. 

We meet at The Exeter Phoenix every second Wednesday of the month from 1.35 pm (notices start at 1.55pm and talk begins at 2pm) and we have around 270 lovely members and have a short waiting list for joining with full membership BUT you could join us by ZOOM each month.
